| Ogden Outlaws hold open tryouts |
| The Ogden Outlaws, a new Premier Development League team, look to
build the bulk of their roster at this weekend's tryouts. Ogden has invited anyone who's interested to attend the tryouts today at 10 a.m. at Bernard Fisher Park in Clearfield (2920 S. 1000 East). According to owner Mike Hickman, the tryouts are open to anyone 16 and over. There is a $50 registration fee and participants must also fill out a registration form. Forms will be available at the tryouts or can be downloaded from the Outlaws' Web site, www.ogdenoutlaws.com. Additional tryouts may be held next Saturday. The team is looking for players to compete in the PDL, a national amateur league run by United Soccer Leagues. The Outlaws open their inaugural season May 13 at home against BYU. Ogden will play its home games at Ogden High School. |
